Our journey begins here.

A virtual support group designed to foster community between endometriosis survivors.

No one should have to go through endo alone.

Here, you don’t.

Meet the creator

Hi, I’m Annabelle.

This is me when I’m feeling my best.

And this is me when I’m feeling… not my best.

ABOUT ME

My name is Annabelle Lesser — welcome to Endo Beginnings!

I am a rising junior in Applied Psychology at New York University, with a strong passion for clinical ethics and gender equity in healthcare. Outside of school, I serve as a research assistant at NYU Langone Health, and I am also a professional Musical Theatre performer and producer in Manhattan.

My endometriosis journey is ongoing, but it started in 2022 when I began experiencing abnormal levels of pain during my period. As the pain increased, particularly in the spring of 2024, I knew it was time to start searching for answers.

Like many others, my search for a concrete diagnosis is ongoing and exhausting. Juggling constant appointments, bloodwork, and imaging exams alongside school and work is extremely taxing and contributes to the overwhelming nature of knowing that something is wrong with your body while lacking definitive answers. I started Endo Beginnings once I realized that many people feel the same way that I do!

While I am not a medical professional, I realize that there is strength in community — I hope that Endo Beginnings can be a start to a new community for those fighting endometriosis.
